Certina is a watch manufacturer founded in 1888 in Grenchen, Switzerland and their watches are well-known for their precision, reliability and sporty character. The watch brand has built itself a solid international reputation on quality Swiss craftsmanship, over its 130-year history. They established this reputation by making reliable and innovative watches such as in 1959, when they launched the DS (Double Security) concept, which ensured a shock resistant watch with a water resistance up to 20 ATM.
