When looking for a nice dress watch the first thing you will most likely look for are its looks indeed, but the looks of a dress watch are refined, elegant and minimalistic in most people’s view. What I mean by this expression is that a dress watch should perform only when it is asked to, for example; you are at a wedding and you have your watch half under your blouse and someone notices your watch and you start a conversation about it, then you will be backed by this solid horse because the Frederique Constant Premiere will deliver when it is asked to. The watch has a 38.5 mm stainless steel case with a leather strap and the face of the watch does not scream but is very refined, it has Arabic numerals printed minute circle upon the outer ring of the dial that has a sunburst finish, the inner ring of the dial has an hour ring with applied Roman numerals, and at the center of the dial you will find a beautiful guilloch\u00e9 pattern that adds a texture and different dimension in depth to the watch.
This is the beautiful stage where the three central hands glide above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But of course when somebody asks what watch you wear you will not directly line up all the specifications of the watch like a robot. So now comes the fine part: When you turn the watch you can take a glance at the beautifully finished FC-301 based on the G100 La Joux-Perret movement with the well-known C\u00f4tes de Gen\u00e8ve pattern (stripes) that are visible through the transparent caseback. The G100 is a solid movement with 24 jewels, a beat rate of 28,800 bph and 68 hours power reserve. It is a real conversation starter and for a change something different than an ETA or Sellita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
